How do you introduce the alphabet to a toddler?

The alphabet can be introduced early as toddlers begin building letter name and sound fluency.  Begin by working with capital letters and start with just a few letters at a time, you can add more as your child is ready.  Have short flash card practice sessions with your toddler each day, consider beginning with the letters and sounds in their own name. Show your toddler how letters are everywhere!  They can have flash card practice times each day and then reinforce the concepts by pointing out letters they can see throughout their daily activities.
